We strongly believe in being a part of the communities in which we are privileged to operate.

Smurfit Westrock has a deep commitment to supporting the communities in which we live and work and championing the vulnerable. Our work in this area is guided by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

In 2024, our employees have generously given their time, energy, and expertise, to empower communities by tackling inequalities, encouraging wellbeing through exercise and play, inspiring future generations via education and opportunity, and by leading by example in protecting our planet for a more sustainable future.

Several of this year’s initiatives were partly funded by Smurfit Westrock’s charitable foundation which funds many life-changing projects particularly in the areas of poverty, children in need, health and nutrition, education and basic care.
