The Challenge
Butcher Base is an online retailer specialising in premium beef sourced exclusively from Czech farms that adhere to high standards of animal welfare and sustainability. The challenge was to design an insulated e-commerce package that could keep the beef chilled during transit while also reflecting their commitment to sustainability.

The Approach
Our team of experts developed a 100% paper-based packaging solution, consisting of a corrugated cardboard box with six hexacomb inserts that insulates the pack from all sides. The design is user-friendly, making it easy for consumers to open and can be conveniently recycled through standard household cardboard recycling systems after use.

The new e-commerce packaging is not only made from renewable and recyclable fibres but is also insulated to keep the beef chilled for up to 8 hours. The printed packaging has become an integral part of the brand, creating a positive experience that customers look forward to receiving time and time again.
