The Challenge

Sconberg, a home appliances and furniture company were looking for new packaging for their tabletop fire place pots. They needed to address the 6% damage rate and guarantee full protection throughout the eCommerce supply chain. The pack had to optimise space and reduce assembly time as well as being sustainable.

The Approach

We designed a 100% sustainable corrugated solution with Honeycomb inserts. The paper-based Honeycomb material offers a unique combination of superior strength whilst being light-weight and the inserts wrap around the product, protecting it from all angles.

The Result

The easy to assemble solution has eliminated product damage and saved Sconberg $57,000 per year in damaged returns. The solution delivers an excellent unboxing experience which has resulted in increased customer satisfaction and enhanced brand reputation.
