Helping Fantasy Farms deliver logistical savings, supply-chain efficiencies and brand enhancement

The Challenge
Fantasy Farms grow over 50M stems of flowers each year. Historically, the flowers were grown, cut and transported from Colombia to the USA then repacked in WETPACKS (corrugated case and a water pot) which were bought in the USA, resulting in additional costs. Additionally, there was a lack of brand presence at the point of sale.

The Approach
We designed a two piece corrugated solution that allowed Fantasy Farms to build a WETPACK in Colombia and export it, without having to invest in extra labour for repacking. It consists of the flowers, a pot, a corrugated outer offering premium protection and an internal corrugated insert. The insert is displayed at the point of purchase to show off the brand.

The Result
The new solution delivers logistical savings, supply-chain efficiencies and brand enhancement whilst keeping all the operations in Colombia. On Valentine´s Day 2021, Fantasy Farms reached more than 40,000 locations in our Wetpack display. It delivers 573K USD savings in freight per year and a 100% saving on corrugated purchased for the repacking process.
