Smurfit Kappa introduced an innovative solution that replaced non-biodegradable materials with a recyclable, paper-based alternative. This new design significantly improved efficiency, reducing packing time by 72% and transport costs by 50%, while also achieving annual savings of €300,000. The initiative demonstrates a sustainable and cost-effective approach to packaging.
