Smurfit Kappa Composites, currently have an exciting opportunity for Commercial Apprentice to join their team. During their apprenticeship the successful candidate will gain valuable experience in a wide range of business functions which will provide the opportunity for a number of potential future career paths.
Main Duties
- Assisting the finance team to develop and manage an accurate customer profitability reporting system
- Helping to develop and input data into databases and order to cash systems.
- Developing and producing management reports to inform commercial and operational decision making
- Gaining experience of various aspects of the finance function and providing some level of absence cover.
- Assisting the commercial/supply chain team to develop order processing tools and planning systems
- Assisting account managers to manipulate data in an efficient manner
- Helping to develop new ways of working
- Assist in expansion of current planning capabilities to incorporate additional parts of the business.
- Gaining experience of various aspects of the procurement and planning functions and providing some level of absence cover.
Key Skills & Knowledge
- Demonstrated commitment to good health and safety practices.
- Good interpersonal skills – essential
- Computer literacy - essential, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
- Strong numeracy skills
- A keen learner with a broad interest range
- Good communication skills
