A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Operations Administrator to join our successful speciality plant based in Yate.  Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the coordinating and assisting in managing the supply chain.

 

The role is key in contributing to Machine Systems Supply chain, Machine Builds and Fleet management.

 

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Assist with standardising by implementing systems to streamline order processes.
  • Process all Machine Build, Fleet Parts and Assembly purchase orders.
  • Post glue order processing and administration from receiving Customer orders through to invoice posting.
  • Raise and send out order acknowledgements.
  • Assist with the complete Supply Chain management.
  • Maintain customer and supplier relationships.
  • Ensuring parts are sent out to Customers/Engineers on time and to cost.
  • Complete parts invoicing.
  • Support the Service Manager with Fleet and Engineer management and transport.
  • Timesheet processing and updating.
  • Updating and maintaining CRM.
  • Protean software admin.
  • Input and maintain fleet contracts.
  • Stock take participation, control, administration and replenishment.
  • Service Line and general telephone support.
  • Office maintenance and organisation administration.
  • General Administration duties.

 

Skills Knowledge & Experience:

 

The ideal candidate will have either prior experience or be able to demonstrate they are capable of operating in these areas, however additional training and development will be offered as required.

 

  • Delivering high levels of customer service and the administration of complex business systems.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyse large amounts of data.
  • Awareness of end to end production processes.
  • Commercially astute.
  • Effective stock management experience.
  • High degree of interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Highly organised and thorough with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proactive and able to make sound logical decisions and follow processes.
  • Creative problem solving skills are essential to this role.
  • Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
  • Flexibility to be able to handle and prioritise multiple requests at the same time.
